What would you do if you found out that your husband of almost three decades was having an affair? And what would you do if, only eight months later, you were diagnosed with breast cancer? These questions are what nightmares are made of. But for me, they were my reality. I thought I had the perfect family and the perfect life: a loving husband who worked hard, three beautiful, happy daughters, extravagant and fun family trips, and a gorgeous house in a safe neighborhood. The American Dream. But within months, that dream turned into a nightmare.
The Bible reassured me that God had a plan for me, and though I tried my best to trust in him, I couldn’t help but question: Why is this all happening to me?

In one word AMAZING. The book was incredibly written. It heartfelt, and honest. Gina opens up about her life and experiences in a way that almost nobody will ever have the courage to do. I’m sure a lot of us can relate. This book will encourage your faith and remind you how much you love your family.
